Texas-Based Prison Entrepreneurship Program to Open Auto Repair Shops

Over the years, I have been a big fan of the Prison Entrepreneurship Program . I was excited to learn today its for-profit subsidiary, Communitas Auto Group, LLC, has inked a franchisee agreement to open a chain of auto-repair facilities to provide jobs for people transitioning from prison. I hope this ground-breaking undertaking will inspire others to attempt bold start-ups that create significant job opportunities for individuals rebuilding lives from prison: PEP’s for-profit subsidiary, Communitas Auto Group LLC, has purchased the rights to become the exclusive master franchisee for Auto-Lab Complete Car Care Centers for the State of Texas.
